We had to lie today. I didn't like this task all too much. The fact that we had to go in front of the class and deliberately lie, sucked. The going-in-front-of-the-class part wasn't so bad but lying strait to my peers while looking them directly in the in eyes wasn't cool. It made me feel uncomfortable and dishonest even though it was a simple task. The second portion where we got to tell stories of our Thanksgiving was pretty cool though. It was nice to know what kind of things people do on Thanksgiving. I liked hearing the out-of-the-ordinary things that people did.
ruddy-(of a person's face) having a healthy red color.
pungent-having a sharply strong taste or smell.
inchoate-just begun and so not fully formed or developed; rudimentary.
I totally agree with you. It was very difficult for me to think of a good lie, I just came up with a truth that turned negative. Many people have different ways of celebrating Thanksgiving and it would be great if we could attend each others gatherings a new experience.
